Club Med has launched the Great
Agents Loyalty Program, featuring a number of tiered benefits.
The program works on a points
basis. For every $1 sold, agents will receive one point.
Agents who have already been
selling Club Med will be automatically enrolled into the program. Sales from
Nov. 1, 2016, to Oct. 31, 2017, will be applied to agents' accounts. New agents
will be automatically enrolled after making their first booking.
The Great Agents Loyalty
Program will be integrated into Club Med's agent portal in a new online area
called Agent Space, where sales will automatically be tracked. Agents can log
in to check their status and get rewards.
All resorts are eligible for the program.
With the new loyalty program
comes a revamping of Club Med's reward system.
After their first sale,
agents have Turquois status. It includes discounted rates for personal
bookings, free night stays or day passes, access to a local business
development manager, access to the travel agent portal, customizable marketing
and the chance to participate in surveys to share feedback with Club Med.
At 25,000 points, agents will
hit the Silver level, which includes everything at the Turquoise level plus a
room category upgrade to Club + level during stays. They also get benefits
associated with experiencing Club Med at the Silver Great Member level when
visiting, including a 15% discount in boutiques on Club Med-branded
merchandise, a 10% discount on some excursions, a 50% discount on premium Wi-Fi
for one device, free parking and "special surprise treats."
Once an agent hits the Gold
level with 75,000 points, they receive the same benefits at the Silver level.
They also get a room upgrade to Deluxe level, ability to take part in online
focus groups to share feedback, advance notice of fam trips and an invitation
to the Great Agents Recognition Awards Ceremony (which includes a three-night
stay). They also get Gold Great Member perks when visiting: free premium Wi-Fi
for four devices, private transfer, priority check-in and a $50 resort credit.
At the Gold level, agents
also receive rewards for their clients: Two promotions in a year to upgrade
their clients to the next Great Member level, and two free room upgrades in a
year.
The highest level an agent
can achieve is the Platinum level with 200,000 annual points. This includes everything
at the Gold level plus a room upgrade to Suite level and an invitation to the
Great Agents Recognition Awards Ceremony with a five-night stay included.
It includes perks associated
with the Platinum Great Member level: A $100 resort credit, late check-out,
specific room requests and priority reservations at specialty restaurants.
Platinum agents receive the
following client rewards: Four promotions in a year to upgrade clients to the
next Great Member level, four free room upgrades in a year, and two vouchers
per year worth $50 for clients.
Correction: This article originally named a selection of resorts participating in the program, but all resorts are eligible.
