Sabre has launched a new shopping capability, FareNabber API, which will enable agency and OTA users to provide their customers with a more personalized experience when shopping for airfares.

FareNabber employs an automated search that takes customers' preferences into account when returning flight listings, Sabre said.

The customer preferences in consideration include origin and destination (airport or city), number of passengers, date flexibility (including days of the week), specific departure and return date, departure time or arrival window, preferred airlines and the minimum or maximum acceptable fare per person.

Sabre Travel Network president Wade Jones said FareNabber will enable travel sellers to "take fare shopping to the next level through the combined power of data and technology."
