Travel, is gearing up for its Home-Based Sensation National
Conference in October. The four-day event will be held on the
Carnival Sensation from Oct. 26 to 29. The cruise sails roundtrip
from Port Canaveral and will feature two days of training,
networking and lectures, a trade show and opportunities to meet

CRUISE AND
TRAVEL AGENTS ONLY will host a Cruise University aboard
the Carnival Triumph on Dec. 9, sailing roundtrip from Miami.
During the cruise, agents will visit Cozumel, Mexico; Ocho Rios,
Jamaica; and Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands. Bernie Blomquist,
manager of training and development for CLIA, will conduct three
classes and present two videos that will earn attending agents 65
credits toward their ACC/MCC and ECC certifications. Also
participating will be Joachim de Posada, a motivational speaker,
author, trainer and consultant.
THE
PROGRAM also includes the Cruise and Travel Agents Only
Travel Sales Certification program. Agents passing the TSC course
can also earn eight continuing education units (CEUs) from the
Travel Institute. Tuition starts at $529 per person, including all
port charges, government fees, taxes and course materials.
