Agents booking with Delta Vacations now can offer clients flexible vacation vouchers redeemable for tours and activities in several Caribbean destinations.
Delta Vacations and Aeromexico Vacations launched the voucher program earlier this year in select destinations in Mexico and Costa Rica. Caribbean destinations in the program include Jamaica (Montego Bay, Ocho Rios and Negril), the Dominican Republic (Punta Cana and La Romana), Aruba, St. Maarten/Martin and San Juan.
“More and more vacationers are adding activities and tours; however they often wait until they get to their destination to plan and purchase,” said MLT Vacations President John Caldwell. “These excursion vouchers allow travel agents to capture these sales to grow the value of their bookings with us.”
The vouchers are commissionable.
Clients can purchase up to $300 in vouchers for activities in both Jamaica and the Dominican Republic; up to $100 in Aruba and St. Maarten; and up to $75 in San Juan.
