The Westin Puntacana Resort & Club opened Jan. 6 in the Playa Blanca area of the Puntacana Resort & Club property, minutes from Punta Cana Airport.
The opening marks the debut of the Westin brand in the Dominican Republic. Westin operates five other resorts in the Caribbean.
Facilities at the 200-room Puntacana resort include a pool and poolside grill, lobby bar, cigar bar, kids’ club, meeting and wedding venues, walking trails, a spa, gym and business center.
Guests have access to the Puntacana Resort & Club, including three miles of beaches, 45 holes of golf, a marina, nine restaurants and a 1,500-acre ecological reserve with 12 freshwater lagoons.
