NEW YORK--Commodore Cruise Line signed a letter of intent with the
Viejas Band of Kume-yaay Indians in California to operate the
shipboard casino on its Enchanted Sun, the ship it is acquiring for
a proposed day-cruise operation from San Diego to Rosarito, Mexico.
As for a start-up date, Commodore said it will be "before the
[turn of the] millennium."
