Hurtigruten has launched its first loyalty program, which offers repeat guests discounts and other benefits.
The expedition cruise line named the program 1893 Ambassador, in reference to the year of the company’s founding by Norwegian ship captain Richard With.
Members of the 1893 Ambassador program are entitled to 10% off their next Norwegian coastal voyage; 5% off voyages to Greenland, Antarctica or Spitsbergen; and 5% off spring cruises in Europe. Also, Hurtigruten said it will offer a 5% discount on some shore excursions booked onboard Norwegian coastal cruises.
Additional benefits include bridge visits, in-room fruit baskets and three-day bicycle rentals.
Membership to the 1893 Ambassador program is free, and discounts can be combined with early-booking fares as well as other discounts.
Previous guests on Hurtigruten voyages can join the 1893 Ambassador program by visiting Hurtigruten’s website or by calling (877) 301-3059.
