MSC sells oldest ship

MSC Cruises has sold the 764-passenger MSC Rhapsody to an unnamed Israeli operator.

The ship, built in 1977 and a part of MSC's fleet since 1995, ceased sailing for the Italian cruise line in March. The Rhapsody was MSC's oldest and smallest ship.

The MSC Rhapsody was marketed primarily to customers in Europe.
