CHICAGO -- Orbitz upgraded its cruise technology and product,
enabling consumers to do more comparison shopping.
Cruise shoppers who visit the site at www.orbitz.com now can
compare cabin types and multi-category pricing on the same
screen.
In addition, the company said it also is offering travelers
upgrade opportunities from individual cruise lines.
Like competitors Travelocity and Expedia, Orbitz is trying to
broaden its appeal beyond airline ticket sales into hotels,
vacation packages and cruises.
