AMELIA ISLAND -- Amelia Island Plantation offers agents 10% pay on
all components of its All-Inclusive Recreation Package, with the
exception of the related tax and gratuity.
Based on four adults for five nights in a two-bedroom oceanview
villa, agents would receive $188 commission.
The All-Inclusive covers unlimited golf and tennis, use of the
Health & Fitness Center, supervised recreation and more; it is
valid through Jan. 15 and from June 4 to Nov. 18.
Agents also earn 10% pay on the entire Grand Millennium Gala,
Dec. 30 through Jan. 2.
Rates for this three-night plan are $2,000 per person (children
12 years of age and younger stay free; those 13 to 16 pay $1,000).
This plan includes an oceanview room, all food and beverages,
sports and recreation.
In other news, the hotel's redesigned Web site, www.aip-fl.com, offers
a travel agent section. Its purpose is to "provide agents with
information and offers that will help them better sell the property
to their clients," Richard Goldman, vice president of marketing,
said.
Fam trips, information on travel incentives and special package
rates will be posted. Access to the travel agent section is
established by entering specific agency information along with an
International Airlines Travel Agent Network or Cruise Lines
International Association number.
