NASSAU, Bahamas -- The Bahamas launched the third annual Bahamas
Getaway promotion offering a savings on packages of up to $270 per
couple.
Agents earn full commission on Bahamas Getaway packages prior to
the discounts. Plans must be booked through participating
wholesalers and operators.
Clients who book packages through Oct. 31 and pay with American
Express cards save $75 on stays of three nights, or $150 on stays
of four nights or longer. Travel must be completed by Dec. 16.
In addition, to accommodate a growing pattern of frequent short
trips, clients from South Florida can save $25 on one- or two-night
quick getaway packages.
Travelers who buy packages that include air on American Eagle,
Continental Airlines, Delta Air Lines, TWA or US Airways will save
an additional $60 per person. This offer cannot be booked directly
through the airlines.
Participating operators are Apple Vacations, Discovery Vacation
Packages, Driftwood Vacations, Grand Bahama Vacations, Gogo
Worldwide Vacations, Nassau/Paradise Island Express, Paradise
Island Vacations and Travel Impressions.
