NEW YORK -- This summer, business and leisure travelers will have
another hotel choice in the city when the Citylife Hotel Group
opens ThirtyThirty.
This will be the third hotel in two years for Citylife, which
last year opened Habitat and On the Ave hotels.
Like its sister hotels, ThirtyThirty, which will be located at
30 E. 30th St., will appeal to "contemporary budget travelers" with
room rates that will run from $125 to $175 a night.
In addition to serving the city's booming leisure market,
ThirtyThirty is expected to draw a large part of its clientele from
visitors to the burgeoning businesses along "Silicon Alley."
"We're in an ideal spot for anybody coming to the city, whether
guests are working for a dot-com or want to visit the Empire State
Building," said Ralph Stephenson, general manager.
"We're near terrific restaurants and even some of the city's
great one-of-a-kind venues."
ThirtyThirty is close to several educational institutions such
as New York University Medical Center, the School of Visual Arts
and the Fashion Institute of Technology.
Also close by are the New York Public Library, the Pierpont
Morgan Library and the City University of New York's Graduate and
Research Library.
