DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Travel agents can offer their clients
attractive two-night and longer packages during the area's
fall-winter value season, currently in progress, according to the
Daytona Beach Area Convention & Visitors Bureau.
Among hotels with these deals are five properties represented by
C&D Hospitality Marketing.
They are the Comfort Inn & Suites, the Daytona Inn Beach
Resort, Castaways Beach Resort, the Fountain Beach Resort and the
Pirate's Cove Beach Resort.
C&D pays 10% on all package components.
A sampling of packages follows. Rates shown are for two room
occupants and include tax, except where noted. All package rates
expire Jan. 31.
Honeymoon -- This plan includes an oceanfront room, daily
continental breakfast and one bottle of champagne.This program costs $130. Additional hotel nights are $49 each,
plus tax.
Adventures in Paradise -- This plan covers the room, two
one-day passes to Adventure Landing Waterpark and Entertainment
Center, continental breakfast daily and two passes to Daytona USA
-- the official attraction of Nascar.The package cost is $165. Additional persons may be added for
$40 each, while additional hotel nights are $49 each, plus tax.
Scenic Daytona Beach -- This package includes an oceanfront
room, continental breakfast, two river cruise passes and two dinner
passes at both the Inlet Harbor Marina and Sweetwaters
restaurants.This plan costs $193. Additional hotel nights are $49 per night,
plus tax. Additional persons may be added to the package for $92
per person.
Safari River Tour and More. This package provides two passes
for a two-and-half hour, narrated river cruise along the St. Johns
River.The package also includes an oceanfront room, continental
breakfast and a choice of two passes to Daytona USA or an afternoon
scenic cruise along the Halifax River.
The cost of this program is $140. Additional room nights are $49
and additional guests cost $30 each.
A Day at the Races. Guests for this package receive a VIP tour
of Daytona USA and Daytona International Speedway, as well as lunch
during the tour.Also covered are admission to the Daytona Beach Kennel Club,
dinner in the club's Pavilion Room, oceanfront room and daily
continental breakfast.
This plan costs $199. Additional hotel nights cost $49 each,
plus tax.

Oceans Resorts' five oceanfront hotels -- the Plaza Resort &
Spa, Acapulco Hotel & Resort, the Beachcomer Inn, the Best
Western La Playa Resort, and the Treasure Island Resort -- each
offer a two-night Beach & Breakfast package that includes a
full breakfast each day and two welcome cocktails.
Beach & Breakfast rates start at $59. Oceans Resorts runs a
courtesy shuttle between its hotels, allowing guests to participate
in all activities its properties offer including the Plaza Resort's
full-service, European-style spa and salon.
The shuttle also provides transfers to and from Daytona Beach
Airport.
This package is valid through December, and agents earn 15% for
most bookings through December, combined with the standard 24-hour
commission turnaround.
