LAS VEGAS -- A new program for travelers that is due to come on
line in the next few months is based on a joint venture of the
Hilton Grand Vacations Club and the Creative Cooking School here.
CCS president Catherine Margles said talks are under way to
institute a program with the Hilton Grand Vacations Club that would
offer guests at least two ways to incorporate the joys of the
kitchen into their Las Vegas leisure experience.
In one arrangement, the school will send a private chef into a
HGV Club suite and treat the folks to a culinary demonstration and
then serve them the resulting gourmet dinner.
In this scenario, the guests have the opportunity to specify the
type of cuisine they'd like.
An alternate offering will take shape as a vacation package that
includes the suite accommodations and cooking lessons taught by top
chefs at the west Sahara location of the Creative Cooking School.
The weeklong stay would include three days of classes.
The 404-room Hilton Grand Vacations Club, located just north of
the Las Vegas Hilton, offers timeshare and hotel stays in one- and
two-bedroom suites featuring a master whirlpool bath, fully
equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, cable TV and a VCR.
The 3-year-old property has a heated pool, a whirlpool spa and
barbecue/picnic areas. The amenities of the Las Vegas Hilton are
available to guests of the Grand Vacations Club. --
