Hungary sets U.S. promo effort

LONDON -- Next year, the Hungarian National Tourist Office will launch its largest promotional campaign to date in the U.S., a three-year, $1.5 million consumer advertising plan combined with an agent training program.

The campaign was announced by the tourist office during World Travel Market here.

The agent training program will be run in conjunction with tour operators to Hungary and will include educational tools and fam trips, officials said.
