To celebrate the full moon each month,the Cliffs Resort in Pismo Beach, Calif., will offer the Dancing in the Moonlight package.

 

The overnight plan covers accommodations in an oceanfront suite; a gourmet cheese plate and bottle of champagne; a dance lesson; and a Celestial Soak bath prepared by the resort's bath sommelier.

With a local population of sea lions sharing the same Southern California coast that the Portofino Hotel & Yacht Club calls home, the hotel, in Redondo Beach, has launched a program to help benefit the Marine Mammal Care Center at nearby Fort MacArthur in San Pedro, Calif.

The Stay and Save a Sea Lion plan features accommodations for two in an oceanside room, use of a paddle boat on the weekends in the winter, a disposable camera and a welcome bag for kids upon check-in.

Midtown-Manhattan's Salisbury Hotel announced a MoMA Museum Lovers package, valid for visits through Oct. 1.

The Salisbury is on West 57th Street across from Carnegie Hall, and the Museum of Modern Art is four blocks south on West 53th Street. It is open daily, except Tuesdays.

Through March 31, and from July 1 to Sept. 9, the package is priced from $179 per night, double, for accommodations from Sundays through Wednesdays, and from $209 per night for Thursdays through Saturdays. The Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park is welcoming cycling's biggest event, the Tour de France, which will begin in London for the first time in its history.

The Tour de France 2007 package includes two nights' accommodations in a deluxe Hyde Park room or Park View suite, full English breakfast each morning, bicycle rental for the duration of the package and a three-course meal served either in the room or in the hotel's restaurant, the Park.

The plan is priced from about $2,675 for two nights, double, plus VAT and a 5% service charge. The plan is valid for stays July 5 to 8.

Between March 31 and April 7, Canadian Mountain Holidays is offering guests the option to take a heli-skiing trip to the operator's base in Revelstoke, British Columbia, for any duration.

CMH's trips usually are a minimum of four days, but during this week, guests can stay from one to seven nights, with nightly rates starting at about $615 per night.
