New York is giving clients the golden ticket with the Chocolate
Factory Fantasy package, valid July 1 through Sept. 5,
inspired by Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, a film to be
released July 15.
The two-night
plan covers accommodations for two adults and two kids and the
Augustus Gloops Chocolate Pancake Breakfast delivered to the room
one morning.
A DVD copy of
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory will be waiting for the
family upon arrival, as will tickets to Charlie and the Chocolate
Factory.
The plan,
commissionable at 10% on the room rate, is priced from $349 per
night for a family of four. Rates for less than four people per
room can be arranged.

Similarly, the
Sea Pines Resort in Hilton Head, S.C., invites
families to strengthen bonds, much like the characters in Come Away
Home, a recently released motion picture filmed at the
resort.
The Come Away
Home overnight program features accommodations in a
two-bedroom villa; four tickets to the movie; a copy of the book,
Come Away Home; and an evening of music with local entertainer
Gregg Russell, who is featured in the film.
The plan, valid
through Sept. 5, is priced at $195 per night. A three-night minimum
stay is required. Agents earn 10%

to celebrate the 72nd anniversary of the first drive-in movie
theater, the Loews Annapolis (Md.) Hotel is
offering a drive-in for pets this summer.
The Lukes
Drive-In package, named after the hotels resident labrador
retriever, is available Sunday nights through Aug. 28 and includes
deluxe accommodations for guest and pooch, a list of pet-friendly
things to do in Annapolis, morning and evening doggie treats in the
room and a $20.05 credit to be used in the hotels Weather Rail
Lounge.
Every Sunday
night at 7 p.m. on the hotels patio, pets and their owners can view
one of the canine classics. Among the
films the hotel plans to show are Lady and the Tramp, Beethoven and
101 Dalmations. The movie viewing is
free.
