The plan is valid throughout the baseball season, which runs through October. Play Ball! is priced at $185 per night, double, and covers deluxe accommodations, binoculars, a bag of peanuts and two microbrews upon arrival and a San Francisco Giants souvenir.

The plan does not include tickets to a Giants baseball game or hotel taxes/service charges. The price increases to $219 per night when parking is included.

Even though Washington doesn't have its own Major League Baseball team, the Hotel Monaco Washington DC is offering the Let's Play Ball package throughout the baseball season.

The timing coincides with the duration of the "Baseball as America" exhibit at the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History, on display through Oct. 3.

The overnight Let's Play Ball plan, priced at $199 per night, covers deluxe accommodations (with room for a family of four), transportation to the Smithsonian's exhibit, a Hotel Monaco baseball cap, the CD "Baseball's Greatest Hits" and a box of Cracker Jack. An upgrade to a suite is available for an additional $60.

Beantown is the home of Major League Baseball's Boston Red Sox as well as the Fairmont Copley Plaza, and the hotel has a long-standing tradition of supporting the home team.

This season, the hotel created the Play Ball package, which includes overnight accommodations and two infield grandstand tickets to a Red Sox game.

The plan is available between Aug. 13 and Sept. 5. Rates start at $375 per couple. For an additional $100 per night, the package can be upgraded to club-level accommodations.

With gas prices at record highs, the Doral Tesoro Hotel and Golf Club in Fort Worth, Texas, is offering its clients a $40 gas refund on stays through Labor Day.

Rates start at $119 per room, per night. To be eligible for the gas refund, clients must book a minimum two-night stay.

In a similar promotion, Embassy Suites Hotels joined Sony Pictures to promote the June 30 release of "Spider-Man 2."

All kids checking into an Embassy Suites this summer with their families will receive a Spider-Man 2 Web Pack, which contains a reusable nonflash camera with film, a Spider-Man plush toy, a Toss and Catch game, a coin holder, Spider-Man stickers and a puzzle picture cube with six Spider-Man images, all packed in a messenger bag (with webbed lining).

The Web Pack is offered at participating hotels in the continental U.S., Puerto Rico and Latin America for stays between Thursdays and Sundays through Sept. 12. A check online had sample rates for the July 9 weekend ranging from $90 to $150 in the U.S.

Denver's Brown Palace Hotel hosted the Beatles during their 1964 U.S. concert tour, and the hotel has since renamed the two-bedroom suite they stayed in the Beatles Suite.

To commemorate the Aug. 26, 1964 visit, the Brown Palace is offering an overnight Beatlemania plan through Dec. 30 priced at $189 per room, double.
