FREEPORT, Grand Bahama Island -- Lots of goodies are included in
the Grand Bahama Grand Vacation family package at Royal Oasis Golf
Resort & Casino.
Commission is 10% but can go as high as 15%, based on monthly
volume.
Dottie Cox, vice president of sales and marketing for Grand
Bahama Vacations (GBV), said add-on activities also pay commission,
including dolphin and island tours.
"We are dependent on travel agents for our distribution," Cox
said.
GBV and Royal Oasis offer agents a 50% discount on air and land
arrangements, year-round, space available.
The family plan is available at the Holiday Inn SunSpree and the
Crowne Plaza resorts, both of which constitute the Royal Oasis Golf
Resort & Casino.
The package, which features midweek departures on Laker Airways
from nine U.S. gateways, is priced at $249 per person, double,
including roundtrip air and three nights at the Holiday Inn
SunSpree through June 30. Fare for kids age 12 and younger is $99
roundtrip. Land-only rates at the Holiday Inn start at $125 per
person, double.
The Crowne Plaza's starting price for the room only is $135 per
person, double.
