VANCOUVER -- Tourism BC released travel guides to assist in
planning a vacation to British Columbia.
The three guides are the BC Vacation Planner, the Approved
Accommodation Guide, and the Outdoor Adventure Guide. All were
updated and include travel tips.
The 100-page Vacation Planner includes comprehensive information
on the province's six tourism regions, with information on sights,
attractions, activities and events, recommended scenic driving
tours, and maps.
The Approved Accommodations Guide lists more than 2,900 hotels,
lodges, bed & breakfasts, guest ranches and campground,
organized by tourism region and town.
TheOutdoor Adventure Guide is useful to nature enthusiasts. In
its four sections -- Saltwater, Freshwater, Land and Winter
adventures, there is information on sea kayaking, river rafting,
caving and horseback riding. The guide indicates where to go, what
to expect and who to call.
