FUNJET
VACATIONS and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors
Authority have teamed up to offer a travel agent incentive. Through
Oct. 31, based on a revenue-based point system, Funjet and the
LVCVA will award a luxury car during a Funjet and LVCVA-sponsored
celebration in Las Vegas in December in a random drawing of the top
producing egents. Agents can earn points by booking Las Vegas air-hotel packages, car rentals and
tours before Nov. 1 for travel through Dec. 31. Vacations priced
from $500 to $800 are worth one point; $801 to $1,000, three
points; and more than $1,000, five points. Agents receive one point
for any Fashion Show Mall tour booked and one point for any Alamo
Rent A Car booking.
TOP-PRODUCING Funjet travel agents will be
welcomed to Las Vegas from Dec. 10 to 12; the trip includes
roundtrip air, airport transfers, accommodations, a welcome
cocktail party and a dinner where the car will be awarded to the
winning agent. Opportunities to win prizes and to earn bonus points
will be available each month. For example, through the end of June
all bookings made at MGM Mirage Resorts for travel through the end
of the year will earn double point value. The top-producing agent
for June will receive a 42-inch, flat-screen television from the
Excalibur Hotel and Casino. For more information on the contest,
call (800) 558-3050 or visit www.vaxvacationaccess.com.
THE LAS
VEGAS MONORAIL has reduced the fare for a one-day Summer

transportation along the Las Vegas Strip, from the MGM Grand at the
southern end to the Sahara at the northern end.
