HOLLAND AMERICA LINE will boost the number of 10-day cruises it offers on the Ryndam through the Sea of Cortes to 15 in 2008, four more than in 2007. The 1,258-passenger Ryndam will operate the itineraries from San Diego in the spring and fall of 2008, with eight cruises departing from Feb. 5 to April 15 and seven from Oct. 12 to Dec. 11. The ship will visit Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, Topolobampo, Loreto, La Paz and Cabo San Lucas. In addition, the Ryndam will sail three Mexican Riviera cruises in 2008, and the Oosterdam will continue running 28 seven-day Mexican Riviera cruises. In total, HAL will offer 46 Mexico cruises from San Diego in 2008.

THE MARQUIS LOS CABOS RESORT launched a five-night Adventure on Land package that includes three desert treks aboard an H2 Hummer. JETBLUE will add nonstop service between Boston and Cancun, effective March 2. In addition, JetBlue will add a second daily nonstop between New York's Kennedy Airport and Cancun on March 1. JetBlue will operate one nonstop flight from Boston to Cancun every Friday, Saturday and Sunday during the peak months of November through April and nonstop Saturday service only from May through October. One-way fares between Boston and Cancun start from $129.
