US AIRWAYS Nov. 1 will launch nonstop Saturday
service to Las Vegas from both New York [LaGuardia] and Boston
[Logan]. Service between LaGuardia and Las Vegas, which will use
Airbus A321 aircraft, will depart New York at 6:15 p.m. and arrive
at McCarran Int'l at 8:47 p.m. Return flights will leave Las Vegas
at 3:30 p.m. and arrive at LaGuardia at 11:15 p.m. Boeing 757
aircraft will be used for the new Boston service, which will leave
at 5:45 p.m. and arrive in Las Vegas at 8:31 p.m. Return flights
will leave Las Vegas at 2:30 p.m. and arrive in Boston at 10:26

THE NEVADA STATE MUSEUM AND HISTORICAL SOCIETY,
located in Lorenzi Park, features an exhibit of historic signs from
the city's past through Jan. 4. "Neon Unplugged: Signs from the
Boneyard," also includes photos of signs both past and present as
well as an interactive exhibit that demonstrates how so colors are
created for the neon signs throughout Las Vegas. The museum is open
from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except for Thanksgiving, Christmas and

accreditation by the American Zoo and Aquarium Assn. Only 211
institutions worldwide have earned AZA accreditation, and Shark
Reef is the first Nevada institution to receive the honor. The 1.6
million-gallon aquarium is home to more than 2,000 animals from
more than 100 species, including 15 shark species. The attraction
