Turks and Caicos restaurants offer diverse cuisine, atmosphere

PROVIDENCIALES, Turks & Caicos -- "The best thing about being in Provo is the restaurants," said Sean Cooper, manager of Point Grace here.

While Point Grace serves breakfast and lunch daily, dinner is left up to the whims of resort guests.

"We are still in the infancy stages right now," said James Slattery, managing director of the 32-suite property which opened Jan. 29.

"We want to get the hotel up to our standards before adding a dinner restaurant or a spa, both of which we plan to feature in the future."

Point Grace does offer the option of in-room dining, which starts at $300 per couple, per meal.

Lunch is served outdoors at Point Grace in Turks and Caicos. Guests sit down with the chef two days before the dining event to discuss the menu, the number of courses and the final price.

The chef and a serving staff arrive at the guests' suite with all the items for the meal.

Those who want to dine out have a variety of nearby dining options. Point Grace provides shuttle transportation to the restaurants, some of which offer a room service feature for resort guests.
