The Aloft Liverpool Hotel, a Starwood Hotels & Resorts property, opened Oct. 29 in the city’s 110-year-old Royal Insurance building.
Located in central Liverpool, the 116-room property is the result of a $29 million investment project to regenerate and preserve the historic building.
The hotel features an urban design, the brand’s signature WXYZ bar, a fitness center and a take-out food outlet. The pet-friendly hotel also offers meeting rooms, a business center and free Wi-Fi.
The property is the fourth Aloft hotel in Europe and the second in the UK. Five more Aloft hotels are slated to open across Europe in the next three years. An introductory discount of 20% is available on stays completed before March 31, 2015.
