Tetsuji Yamazaki has been appointed general manager for the 521-room Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa in Kona.
In 1997 Yamazaki joined ITT Sheraton as guest services manager for Sheraton Maui Resort and went on to serve as front office manager, director of property operations and hotel manager.
Yamazaki has been serving as interim general manager for Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa since former General Manager Scott Brooks returned to the mainland several months ago. Yamazaki will oversee all aspects of operations at the oceanfront Sheraton Keauhou Bay.
