Location and History
Sukhumvit has more competition now that Kingston Hotels Group has opened another outpost with the Valia Hotel. Its bright and colorful interiors are modern although hardly reflective of local Thai tradition. Instead, designers decided to follow inspiration from the Silk trading route; flowers, spices and other ingredients play a starring role in the design.
The location of this hotel works well for both business and leisure travelers, especially for its convenience to local shopping and dining venues.
