Location and History
Moonlight Basin was once an independent ski resort next to the much larger Big Sky. They combined to form one of the largest ski resorts in the Rockies, while the Moonlight Basin community remained a private enclave. The location selection for One & Only's first U.S. property says a lot about the caliber of the area.
While the property isn't ski-in, ski-out, guests have a private gondola from which they can access the slopes of Big Sky. The gondola is weather-dependent, so shoulder season guests should anticipate a 15-minute shuttle to the main base.
