Location and History
Located in the heart of Agua Caliente, a rural, blue-collar village straddling world-famous vineyards, two miles north of Sonoma Plaza, this is Sonoma Valley's grand dame, an engaging, unpretentious resort with ample old-world flavor that comprises a wonderfully restored historic building and a few newer annexes.
After successfully drilling for mineral water in 1993, the property re-established itself as a bona-fide spa. Its affiliation with the Sonoma Golf Club doesn't hurt its reputation either, even if the club itself is a mile west of the hotel.
