Description
Modern Multi-story Hotel located in commercial district on Pest side of the Danube.
Location and History
Located in the heart of Budapest just steps from Vaci Street—the pedestrian shopping street—and the Danube, this architecturally striking building of glass, steel and granite faces the bustling park, Erzsebet Square, where the highlight is the Ferris wheel and a tree dedicated to the late pop icon Michael Jackson who was a regular guest of the hotel during his Budapest visits.
Opened in 1992, this hotel was the first post-Cold War lodging to present genuine style to this European capital, and it houses a collection of more than 1,000 original Hungarian works of art.
