Description
Newly Restored European-style Hotel dating from 1924.
Location and History
At Marion Square, the Francis Marion is diagonally across the park from the historic Citadel, home of the Embassy Suites, close to restaurants and shopping but a long walk north of the historic and market districts.
This classic brick-and-stone 1924 landmark building is on the National Register of Historic Places. Beloved by locals and visitors alike, it resides a step below luxurious, though its classic interiors are gorgeous and filled with history and high ceilings dangling stout chandeliers.
