Location and History
Adjacent to the civic center and the Queen City Quarter entertainment complex, central to government offices, businesses and entertainment, the Omni lies in the heart of the city at the intersection of Trade and Tryon—literally the city's crossroads. The hotel, with its unique wedge-shaped architectural feature, was built in 1977 as a Radisson property and has been an Omni since 1999.
The Omni boasts Charlotte's most central location, with the hotel centering Overstreet Mall, a skyway atrium that unites eight city blocks.
