Located at Columbus Drive, near North Side, across the Chicago River from the more service-oriented Swissotel and sprawling Hyatt Regency Chicago, this is a well-executed if anonymous convention hotel that benefits from a prized riverfront location and glittering urban views from most every room.
The downside is that the location requires a fair walk to some of the more prominent shopping areas, but those who want to visit Navy Pier or take one of the city's architectural tours are in the prime spot.
