Description
Stone-built house resort located in the heart of Tuscan - Pools with view of valley. 6 minutes away from Abbey of San Galgano.
Location and History
Located just outside the charming hilltop hamlet of Chiusdino, 40 minutes south of Siena, about an hour north of its peer the lavish L'Andana, 90 minutes from Florence, motorists need sharp eyes or they'll miss the discreet metal sign and headstonelike marker alerting arrivals of their destination.
The backstory on this place reads like a familiar tale: Expat Danish couple living the high life in London moves to a Tuscan backwater village to rehab a dilapidated 13th-century farmhouse.
