Description
Intimate Tuscan Hotel housed in a Villa dating from the 17th Century.
Location and History
In a difficult to find but idyllic location on the Tuscan-Umbrian border, 25 kilometers south of Arezzo and 80 kilometers southeast of Florence, a breathtaking 40-minute drive from Perugia, this place has been a destination for civilized castaways for more than three decades.
The former home of notable poet and author Antonio Guadagnoli, it is a smooth-running country treat with modern provenance. A bronze plaque beside the entrance touts Relais & Chateaux's crest and provides a harbinger of the kind of style, standards and dinner guests you can expect inside.
