Location and History
This hotel is situated on the outskirts of Marrakech, southeast of the city center, close to Amanjena Resort and the royal golf course. The luxurious resort is set on the spacious grounds of a 63-acre historic farm that was famous for its olive trees, roses and bougainvillea. Many gnarled, centuries-old olive trees are featured around the property.
The stunning hotel, which is about 10 minutes from the medina, was designed by French architect, Gilles et Boissier, with a design incorporating elements from Berber, Andalusian and Asian cultures, all with a theme of the four elements: water, earth, sky and fire.
