Location and History

Above the village of Moltrasio, this is one of the newer properties to open along the lake. It belongs to the DeSantis family of Grand Hotel Tremezzo fame. The renovation of this palazzo and its surrounding gardens has been so well-received that the famous editorial group Assouline quickly published a coffee table book just after opening.

The property is named for the 18th-century Count Andrea Lucini Passalacqua who acquired the building as a private estate, later welcoming prominent figures over the years (Napoleon and Winston Churchill among them).
