Location and History
Located south of the more elaborate Jackson Lake Lodge, this place has superior accommodations and the air of a rustic boutique operation. This is mostly because of its location with a 1930s-era log cabin that has been carefully restored.
A government entity, it prides itself on its seclusion, award-winning food and comfortably furnished cabins.
The name is a misnomer, however, as the lodge is not on the lake but rather tucked into the pines between Jenny Lake and Leigh Lake to the north.
