This resort enjoys an unparalleled view of Moorea's serrated silhouette from Tahiti's northwestern corner. Although it was born as a TraveLodge in the 1960s and later known as the InterContinental Beachcomber Tahiti, additions and improvements have kept this well-managed, well-maintained resort one of Tahiti's finest for individuals and groups.
It is the closest luxury hotel to the airport, just five minutes by taxi, but the occasional jet blast takeoff is over within a minute, letting guests forget they are so close to an international flightpath.
