Description
Homey resort, on the shores of Poipu beach, offers adventurous trips on Kauai Island; 16 miles from the Lihue Airport.
Location and History
Located a block north of the oceanfront Sheraton Kauai Resort, a five-minute drive from the island's brilliant boutique belle Koa Kea, this upscale resort is on par with Marriott's Waiohai Beach Club, with a restaurant, bar and upscale market serving its studio and multi-bedroom lodgings.
Despite some clever photo-ops, this resort proffers a second-string, off-beach location, set behind a string of million-dollar, single-family residences and condominiums eyeing the rocky coast from across a not-too-busy frontage road.
