Location and History
Once the Hotel Formentor along the seaside, Four Seasons brought its hospitality prowess to the biggest Balearic Island in Spain during its first season in 2024. The resort, which opened in 1929, is surrounded by forests in what is the most northern part of the island. It has its own private jetty where guests can arrive by boat (previously, this was the only way to get there).
Adan Diehl, an art-loving Argentinian entrepreneur, saw this slice of real estate and snatched it up with plans to build another Four Seasons for the Iberian peninsula.
