Location and History
This sprawling, exclusive beachside resort is located on the edge of Praia do Forte village, just a 15-minute walk along the beach or main road. The hotel facilities occupy just a small portion of the massive 74-acre property, most of which is left in its natural state.
The original hotel was created and opened in 1985 as Eco Resort Praia do Forte by visionary Brazilian German, Klaus Peters. He developed all of Praia do Forte in an ecologically and socio-consciously sound manner, working closely with locals to include them in the town's development and success.
