This all-inclusive village resort, which was only the second hotel to open in the region nearly 40 years ago, has gone from banal tropical bunk to semiluxurious French hybrid. Its luxurious Zen Oasis has put it into contention with some of the best in and around Punta Cana, offering an exclusive adults-only complex.
Once a basic bunk, this sprawling center for active families and couples is located close to the airport (8 minutes by car), but not close enough to be bothered by the noise.
