220 Warrenton St, Rockport, ME 04856
Description
Sprawling Year-round Resort originally built in 1889, completely rebuilt in 1974 on 230 oceanside acres overlooking Penobscot Bay.
Location and History
Located a half-mile east of Route 1, this meetings magnate may be the only major conference resort in this midcoast area, but it would probably be the best even with serious competition from a Marriott or Hilton.
However, while business is a major focus, its claims of being a genuine resort are well-founded with the region's best spa, a stunning 200,000-gallon infinity pool, and the golf course gets great reviews for its challenging greens and blue-water vistas.
