Description
1928-built Moorish designed hotel in minutes away from Reales Alcazares Palace and Seville's Gothic Cathedral.
Location and History
Set on a prominent plaza adjacent to the university and the Reales Alcazares, two blocks from the Guadalquivir River and four long blocks from the cathedral and Giralda, this is one of Spain's most famous hotels, impressing arrivals with creativity, color and historic pomp.
Built for the 1929 International Expo by a Sevillano (also responsible for other city landmarks), this remarkable five-story rococo building blends Spanish and Moorish architecture with zest and zeal.
