Location and History
Located on a spectacular, wide white-sand beach, just south of more casual TradeWinds Island Grand Beach Resort, and Sirata Beach resorts, this is one of the more upscale beachside hotels.
The iconic 12-story cylindrical tower was constructed in the early 1970s as a Holiday Inn. Over the decades since, the hotel tower has operated under many different brands.
In 2020 it was bought by a large international company who invested $20 million to completely renovate the interiors, upgrading it into a sleek contemporary chic design, and reopening in 2021 as Bellweather.
