Location and History
On the Washington side of the Columbia River Gorge, about an hour from Portland, Oregon, this property attracts a mix of overnight guests, including plenty of golfers and weekenders coming from Portland, and day visitors from surrounding communities such as Stevenson and Cascade Locks. Seattle is around three hours away.
The lodge opened in 1993 with a design inspired by early-20th-century lodges in the Pacific Northwest. The 175-acre property has undergone a number of expansions and changes over the decades, including the addition of treehouses starting in 2016 and the launch of glampsites and cabins in 2024.
