The ship's atrium is filled with scaffolding now, but its first revenue cruise is March 31.

The Fantasy's top decks will eventually house deck chairs, and passengers who will be flocking to pools, the water coaster and a new water feature called the AquaLab.

At the Fantasy's Animator's Palate restaurant, a new, interactive feature involves giving diners placemats to draw on, which become part of an animated show.

Plastic coverings protect the new seats in the Fantasy's theater. About 2,000 workers are preparing the 2,500-passenger Fantasy for a conveyance from Meyer Werft.

Like other Disney ships, the Fantasy will feature characters from several Disney films, including Rex and Slinky Dog from the "Toy Story" movies.

The Disney Fantasy will be christened in New York March 1.
