Since the global cruise shutdown started 11 months ago, there have been some exceptions to the shutdown, a handful of cruises ships, predominately in Europe and Asia, have been sailing since summer 2020, for the most part with remarkable success. Among them are Hapag-Lloyd's Europa 2 (pictured), MSC Cruises' MSC Grandiosa and Royal Caribbean International's Quantum of the Seas.
