Epcot is in the middle of a transformation that is ongoing despite the pandemic. Here, a new fountain and pylons greet guests in front of the park's icon, Spaceship Earth.

While Epcot goes through its transformation, construction fences are a common sight throughout the park.

A topiary of Remy, the rat that stars in the forthcoming attraction Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, greets guests near the entrance to the France pavilion's expansion that will house the ride. The topiary is part of Epcot's Taste of Flower and Garden Festival, which runs through July 5 and showcases many feats of gardening around the park.

Remy's Ratatouille Adventure will open in Epcot on Oct. 1. Guests can see part of the expanded France pavilion today.

Currently under construction at Epcot is the new roller coaster, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. It features "omnicoaster" vehicles, being inspected here by Imagineers, which enable guests to be rotated along the ride track in any direction while moving at high speeds. Disney said the ride system is the first of its kind.

Epcot will be split into four distinct neighborhoods when work on its transformation is complete: The existing World Showcase, and the new World Nature, World Celebration and World Discovery.
